1894- Yitzhak Izik Ostrin was local deputy for the Eretz Israel farmers and workers support association. In the book Amol iz Geven, 1926, Israel Kopeloff recalls Bobroisk in the 1870's, including a ride to the village Ponkratevitch and a period spent in the village Tozilevitch where Jews lived.
