The village was named after his (literary "Kazimir's"). Before 1793 - Kazimirovo was a small village in Rechitsa District of Minsk Province of Great Lithuanian Princedom, owned by Yudytsky. 1793-1917 - Kazimirovo was a village in Russian Empire. Since 1801 - Kazimirovo was a private small village in Bobruisk District of Minsk Empire. 1870s - after Libava - Romny rail road was constructed, Jewish population appeared in Kazimirovo. Jewish LifeIn 1870s, after they obtained permission to live in rural area and the Libava - Romny rail road was constructed, some Jewish families moved their business to Kazimirovo. As far as there were no Jewish community or considerable resident Jewish population in Kazimirovo, there were no special Jewish objects there. Economic ReviewTraditional activities of local population were agriculture and chopping and river transport of wood. Since early times Dobosna river was main road and trade way for local habitants. During Russian principality the authorities did a lot to develop the region because of military and fiscal reasons mostly. Old Kazimirovo harbour was reconstructed. But in general, those processes did not effect Kazimirovo, because it was out of any significant roads or other communications. In XIX, because of development of the All-Russian Market, new types of communications appeared in the area in 1873. Construction of the railroad and highways provoked new increase of development of local settlements. Since that time the closest railway station was in Krasny Bereg (4 km). After 1880s old road from Parichi to Stepy was lengthened to Kazimirovo and Krasny Bereg. Also, old road from Pobolovo to Kazimirovo was transformed into modern one. Some local Jews (had gotten permission to live in rural area in the early 1830s-40s) moved their businesses (mainly taverns and trinket stores), mostly from Parichi, Shchedrin and Pobolovo, to Kazimirovo. We know only one big business enterprises in Kazimirovo and its locality in1902: GRINBERG Benyamin son of Khaym traded with wood in Krasny Bereg. In 1909 there were 53 wooden houses in Kazimirovo. General cultural informationAt the end XIX - beg. XX century in Kazimirovo there was an old Roman
Catholic chapel, founded by Yudytsky, but at that time it was closed. Closest Orthodox
church was in Pobolovo (8 km), closest post office was in Shchedrin (20 km). Closest
