Since the 2nd half of the XIXth century Jewish community of Urechye had their own mayor. That mayor was elected by local Jews. In 1896 Jewish mayor was PESIN Shmuylo son of Abram.
In the beg. XX century there were 2 praying houses in Urechye.
Traditional activities of local Jewish population were trade with timber, vodka, wild honey, fish and mushrooms. Since early time Berezdenka river was the main road and trade way for local habitants.
The shtetle of Urechye began to develop after Radzivill family became its owner. After the Glass Manufacturing was found there by Stanislav-Karol Radzivill, Urechye became the famous place all over Rech Pospolitaya, because Urechye glass decorated Nesvizh Palace of Radzilvills (Radzivills main residence), Mir castle (Radzivill Second residence) and many other residences of nobility of Rech Pospolitaya. In the middle XVIII century 44-64 serfs worked at Urechye glass manufacture as workers.
During Russian principality the authorities did a lot to develop the region because of military and fiscal reasons mostly. First of all, old communications were reconstructed there:

In XIX, because of development of the All-Russian Market, new types of communications appeared in the area in 1873. Construction of the railroad provoked new increase of the development of the region. Urechye became a railway station on Libava-Romny railroad appendix. But the station was used for wood transportation from the region and it did not effect positively on economical development of the Shtetle. Moreover, Urechye population was diminished by 20% by 1910.
In 1882 there were 70 wooden houses in Urechye.
In the early XX century there was relatively big vodka factory in Urechye.
In 1909 in Urechye there were 60 wooden houses.
