Photos in the archives of Beit Lohamei Haghetaot (Ghetto Fighters' House Museum of the Holocaust and Resistance)

  • Photos:
    • Photo # 39: Members of the He-Chaluts ha-Tsa'ir youth movement at a seminar held in Kaminsk. The seminar was attended by members from the Lodz, Kielce, Bedzin and Krakow regions. Photographed in June 1939.
    • Photo # 458: Helena Fogelman. She was born in 1932 in Kaminsk, the daughter of Yechezkel and Elte-Noche. Her parents perished in Treblinka. Helena survived by staying with Christians, and was redeemed by the Coordinatsia. Album 54, No. 548. Note: The Coordinatsia was the Zionist organization for the discovery and recovery of Jewish children in Poland who had been placed with non-Jews during the war.
