Kolbuszowa Górna is included in the Kolbuszowa Region Research Group (KRRG). Shtetlach were interwoven together like a tapestry and the Jewish people of neighboring shtetlach linked by marriages, trade and marketing. They shared schools, cemeteries, kosher butchers, bakers and more. Smaller shtetlach registered their birth, marriages and death in a nearby larger shtetl. In present day Poland Kolbuszowa Górna is in the Podkarpackie Province (Województwo). ounty (Powiat): Kolbuszowa. Rural Administrative District: (Gmina) Kolbuszowa.
Before the Holocaust Kolbuszowa Górna used the Kolbuszowa Jewish Cemetery
Kolbuszowa Górna (including Sedziszówka and Wojkowo), a village in Kolbuszowa county, 2 km. south of the town, with 1,619 Roman Catholic inhabitants, a one-class elementary school, a gmina loan society with capital of 1,195 zl. r., and a distillery on the lands of the major estate. The major estate, belonging to Count Zd. Tyszkiewicz, covers 570 mórgs of farmland, 64 of meadows and gardens, and 69 of pastureland; the minor estate covers 1,606 mórgs of farmland, 274 of meadows and gardens, 429 of pastureland, and 49 of forests. Both these villages lie alongside the highway and belong to the Roman Catholic parish in the town of Kolbuszowa.
