Nisko is included in the Kolbuszowa Region Research Group (KRRG). They shared schools, cemeteries, kosher butchers, bakers and more. Smaller shtetlach registered their birth, marriages and death in a nearby larger shtetl.   • In present day Poland Nisko is in the Podkarpackie Województwo.  Nisko is the seat of the Niżański Powiat [ County ] which includes the following Gminas [ Rural Administrative Districts ] : Harasiuki, Jarocin, Jeżowe, Krzeszów, Nisko, Rudnik Nad Sanem,  Ulanów

  • Nisko is also the seat of the Gmina [ Rural Administrative District ] which includes the city and commune of : Nisko and the following villages / communities:   Barce,  Kończyce, Malce, Nowa Wieś, Nowosielec, Racławice, Wolina , Zarzecze.
