In 1928, Dziembrow was designated as a miasteczko (small city) & gmina wiejska (parish town) in the Second Uchastok, Lida powiat, Nowogrodskie voevodstvo of Poland. The Justice of the Peace was in Sczcuczyn and the Justice Court in Wilno. The 1928 population was 199. The railway station was 16 kilometers away in Skidel on the Grodno-Mosty line. The post office and telegraph were in Dziembrow and telephone in Skidel. Dziembrow one Catholic church, two Orthodox churches and mills.
