Dear Children!
Your letter brought me some peace, before that I was
worrying very much. From you letter I can see that Dorechka continues to be
stubborn, and we thought that after her arrival in Palestine
she would change her view of life. And how does she feel now, did she get
better? I assumed that because of all her worries, her nerves are not good <she is not well psychologically>, and
that’s why she does everything her way and does not follow your advice, but I
hope that as soon as she gets well and calms down, she will start to view life
differently. Right now we are waiting for everything to calm down with you, and
then that your court case would be over etc. You will learn about all our news
from the letter that I am writing to Dora. We are very-very happy that, thank
God, got better, God give her health. May you all be healthy and happy, with
wishes of happiness, your loving mama Revekka.
Dora made aliyyah in 1936, by which
time she was considerably older than Fanya had been when she left home.
This letter must be from 1936.
