My dearests!

We received Dorechka’s letter by the fast mail, got it in 4 days, that means it only took 4 days. How are you and how Fanya is doing? Are you so busy that could not go to her? Don’t you live close to her? And what is it, she is not visiting you at all? Everything is the same at home. Gitel, thank God, is developing well. It is still cold over here, every day we fire up the stoves. Meilach works very hard. Gotele is alone on the street and I will write you more next time. Kissing you all, loving you very much Frida.

Mama will write you about everything.

My dear children!

 Thank God, it is already after-Holidays and had some rest. The weather also changed for the better. At home everything is the same. Papa, thank God, feels better. In the store we manage without helping hands, and if we need help sometimes, Frida comes. We have a maid at home. Sheina (1) still has the same Iadia which you, Dorechka, left, the same that you remember at the day of your departure. Sheina left today for Vilno to sign up for a clinic, because she has stones in her bladder. We received letters from Lisa, she wrote that she is, thank God, healthy and the boy is developing well. How are you, how is your life? How long does your neighbor have to appeal, because it looks like he wants to drag out the time so he can appeal later. It’s time for this nightmare to be over. How is X? (2) Does she still go to Chana <?> or already go to some school? How are you, Dorechka? How are you doing, do you have a job? Now, a son of Beniaminovich came to Lida. From the farm. This is the one who married a daughter of Rivka Radunskoy, but he already divorced her. Gitel, may saying it bring no harm, is a wonderful girl, does not stop remembering you, she is taller than other girls of her age, and is very smart.
