Military Papers from the 1890s

These papers from the 1890s indicate that David Taylor's relative was called up from Vasilishki, New Year 1894, served actively for 9 months, and was then discharged into the Army Reserve.  The second document is some kind of deferment expiring December 1898.   The originals have darkened in time, which is why the background appears so dark.  Their original size is 800 pixels in height.  Depending on your connection, this page may take some time to load.
