Dr. and Mrs. Burba
Dr. Burba was the main doctor of the Mazeikiai hospital. He was a friend of the Aharoni family and he eye witnessed the Holocust.
We found 2 letters from him to Kalaman Aharoni, sent to the USA after the war ( 1945 and 1947). The letter are now filled with Yad Vashem in Jerusalem (file #4433278). following are the letters and the translation
In 2003, following the Kahana trip to Mazeikiai, Kostas Burba (the son of Dr. Burba) who now resides in Chicago USA wrote the family history, given below
