FOUR JEWISH WWII MILITARY VICTIMS

It includes 34 names of WWII victims from Mazeikiai, 4 of whom were Jewish:
No. 11 – Michael Lempert, son of Isaac (Infantry Brig. 249) (*)
No. 13 – Shmuel Shochat, son of Chaim (Infantry Brig. 249)
No. 29 – Shmuel Levin, son of Semen (Shimon?) (Infantry Brig. 249)
No. 30 – Shmuel Peires, son of Isaac (Brig. 156)
(*) Same names with identical birth and death dates are included in the Hebrew language book: The road to Victory – Jewish soldiers of the 16th Lithuanian Division 1942-45). Unit name/no. and place of death are mentioned, as well.
For each name in the list there is a link to an original document, possibly with additional details.
All four served with the 16th Lith. Division (the "Jewish Division").
