Ana Nuta knew two brothers TAUB in Argentina who are in the Plonsker Farein like Ana's parents, They were friends of their parents. One of them moved many years ago to Israel with his children. The other was in Argentina and died there. Her great grandparents Moishe David TAUB (1835-1895) and his wife Sura Przewoznik were married 1861 in a Shtetl near Plonsk named Bodzanow (It is the same Gubernia Plock and Warszawa Province- Lat: 52° 30' and Log: 20° 01'). Their children: Ezrael, Nuchum, Yettel, Schlomo, (1864-1936), Ayria Leib (1871-1943), Dora/ Deborah, her grandmother, her Buba said 1880-1950., Mindele and Riwka were born all in Plonsk. Schlomo TAUB married Chava Rose MOCZNY in Poland. Ayria Leib TAUB married Fanny BROOKER in London. Dora TAUB married Max LANDAU in London. Mindele TAUB married Leib KOHN in Poland. Schlomo, Ayrie Leib and Dora /Deborah left Plonsk around the end of the 19th Century, beginning of the 20th Century. Schlomo and Dora moved to Canadá some time the early 1900's. Mindele TAUB and Leib KOHN's children were: Simcha (1913-1942) married Sara KLEIN; Devorah KOHN married Isruel ZUCKER; Abraham KOHN (1909-1942) married Shoshana NUTA (1914-1942) All were murdered in Auschwitz in 1942/1943. The only two survivors in the family were from Mindele and Lieb's children: Schmuel KOHN (Steve Collins) and his sister Malka KOHN. One of Schmuel and Malka sister, Masha or Musha KOHN immigrated to Switzerland before the war. Malka (1913-1980) Malka married Maurice URBACH in Switzerland and Masha married Ferdi REICH in Switzerland after the war. Schmuel (1918-2000). Schmuel married Shirley DEMAIN in Detroit, Michigan, USA. Masha (1925-1999?) Steve Collins isn't Schmuel TAUB, this is a Mistake, he is Schmuel KOHN. Marilyn's mother Rae LANDAU is first cousin from Steve Collins, who was a survivor as you can see in his testimony given at the Holocaust Memorial Center in many interview in 1982, 1985, 1986 and 1990, with video recording. select this link to read his testimony. She sent Ana Nuta a picture from Ana's aunt Shoshana with her husband Abraham Kohn and a lot of family and friends, and a picture from her and her husband. Ana Nuta is a very close friend of Marilyn. About 2004 one of Ana's cousin said Marilyn and her were the niece of Abraham Kohn and Ana Nuta was the niece of Shoshana Nuta, who was her father's sister, and were murdered Dec. 17, 1942 in Auschwitz. They are very good friends and adopted as cousins, from this day. This information was sent to Ana Nuta by Marilyn Glass and was sent to her from a cousin Vivi REICHT who married Adam BRODY and they live in Zurich. Mindel TAUB and Leib KOHN were the grandparents of Vivi, Lynn Collin and Sami. Masha and Malka were daughters of Mindel and Leib. Midele TAUB was the sister of Marilyn grandmother Dora. Masha was Vivi’s mother. Malka was Sami’s mother. FAMILY TAUB - LICHTENSTEIN: The information was sent to Ana Nuta by their descendant David J.Ellis. His connection with the family TAUB in Plonsk, is six generations back from him. His g-g-g-g-grandmother Faige TAUB LICHTENSTEIN was the sister of the Kuzmir Rebbe, R.Yechezkel TAUB ben Zvi Hirsch.and was born in Plonsk. According to the oral familiar History, Faige moved from Plonsk to Mlawa, where she owned a house in the marketplace and shielded refugees. She, is said in the family, was lived to a very old age. Feige's grandson Chakel LICHTENSTEIN was married five times and immigrated to the United States in 1920. David has a photocopy of the handwritten birth record of his g-grandmother Devorah Rivka, Chaskel daughter, who was born in 1879 and married Abraham Zvi GOODBLATT in 1898. David great-aunt Mildred BLUMING is the last surviving child of his g-grandparents, 88 years old and living in California, USA. FAMILY TOPOL Ana Nuta found two persons from these family: 1) Chaja Khaia TOPOL (nee NOWALSKI) was born in Dobrzyn, Lipno, in 1885. She married David TOPOL, they lived in Dobrzyn but, during the war she went to Plonsk, was in Ghetto of Plonsk where she died in 1942. The testimony was givenby her son Tzvi GRUNER, 27/2/1957 FAMILY CALLAK or TZALEK Ana Nuta found this name from the person from this family in Yad Vashem: Mindl ZRYB (nee CALLAK or TZALEK) was born in Galkow, Poland. She married to Moszka ZRYB and they went to live in Sochocin, Plonsk, was in Ghetto of Plonsk and then was taken to Auschwitz Camp in 1942 where she was murdered. FAMILY TYSZMAN/ TISHMAN: Ana Nuta found this information from Yad Vashem: 1) Mayia or Miriam TYSZMAN or TSHIDMAN (nee SHIDLO) was born in Plonsk to Yitzak and Malka, in 1911. She married David TYSZMAN. Children: Yenkiel (5) They lived in Plonsk, was in Ghetto of Plonsk and then she was taken to Auschwitz Camp where she was murdered in 1942 with her son. The testimony was gived by her sister Sara MEIRI, 20/03/56 who was a survivor and live in Israel. FAMILY TZIBULSKI: Ana Nuta found in Yad Vashem this person: Beila ROBOTNIK (nee TZIBULSKI) was born in Plonsk. She lived , married, in Plonsk, was in Ghetto of Plonsk where she perished. Testimony was gived by her brother in law Shaul PRUSAK, 10/7/57. FAMILY CUKIER or TZUKER or ZUKER: Ana Nuta found this information in Yad Vashem: 1) Mejer CUKIER was born in Plonsk in 1880 to Aharon and Yoheved. He was a teacher and was single, lived in Plonsk, was in Ghetto of Plonsk where he died In 1942. The testimony was gived by his granddaughter Yokheved LICHTERS, 8/12/56
