Selling produce at the side of the road.  A daily occurrence. Everyone carries plastic shopping bags, the modern version of the string bag.
The kind we get, for example, when buying something at a beauty supplystore or a shoe store.  They bring their bags to market and
carry home their purchases in them. In the second picture, the lady in the white shirt is buying a fish from the bucket of the other lady.

Below is a women getting water from a well. most houses did not have running water.
