Gizella SONNENFELD was born in 1870 in Szentes, the fifth of eight
children of Samuel SONNENFELD, a very distinguished member of the
Szentes community. She married Miksa KUN, a restaurant owner from
Hódmezõvásárhely, in 1889. Their
children:
Bálint KUN, a timber merchant and violinist, married Ibolya SIMKÓ from Szentes.
Jolán KUN. Her first husband, Mihaly SCHLESINGER, died in 1914 on the Russian front. Her second husband was Endre KOZMA, a timber merchant from Kecskemét. Their children were Pal KOZMA and Ágnes KOZMA. Ágnes was born in 1920 in Kecskemét and married Imre MEZEI. Agnes perished in Auschwitz in 1944.
Margit KUN married Gyula POLLÁK, a haberdasher from Szeged. Their children were Zsuzsa POLLÁK and Andras POLLÁK.
Ilona KUN married Bela BÁRÁNY. They had a daughter, Ella BÁRÁNY.
