Gilles Fradkin's Research

I'm 34 and I live in the south of France. My ancestors were two brothers who leaved the Grodno area between 1880 and 1885. Here is their story:  Israel FRADKIN and his wife Mirka BERLE LEYZER had 2 sons who wanted to leave Grodno. When Mirka died, Israel married to an other woman. This is what decided the 2 boys (I don't know who was the elder) to leave. They went to London; and there, one wanted to go to France, the other wanted to go to NYC.  So the first came until here, in front of the Mediterranean sea. He was my Gr-gr-grandfather. His surname was Maurice but I'm not sure it was his real surname because it's not a russian surname. He was born in Amdur in(about)1857 and died here in Montpellier in 1917. He was 60.

The second [my gr-gr-granduncle] took the boat to NYC. A few years later, between about 1900 and 1905, he came to Paris and here to pay a visit to his brother. Maybe for his wedding's brother, maybe not. I don't know. And went back to NYC. Since then, nobody had no more news from him. I don't know his surname and his date of birth. All I have about him is a photo.

I contacted a lot of Fradkins all over USA, but I didn't find the right branch.
