Kupishok: For Eternal Memory" - Trip DVD Now Available

Due to the efforts of SIG member Harvey Sherzer and his wife Sue, following the passing of trip leader, Norman Meyer, a trip DVD has been completed and is now available through the Brandeis University National Center for Jewish Film.
For more information on the DVD, price, and shipping go to http://www.brandeis.edu/jewishfilm/Catalogue/films/Kupishok.html

In June, 2005, Harvey Sherzer, a member of the Kupiskis SIG and one of forty-eight "gansa mishpocha" who went to Kupiskis in July, 2004, met with Lithuanian Ambassador to the United States Vygaudas Usackas.  He is shown presenting him with the "Kupishok: For Eternal Memory" DVD.  Ambassador Usackas was born in Skuodas, Lithuania, and later inherited his grandfather's Bajoriskiai farm in the village of Daugailiai, Utena District. His family were sent to Siberia by the Russians in June, 1941.
