Rabbis with Strážnice roots

Shlomo Meinsterl (Shelomoh Dreznits)
Left Dreznitz in 1601-02 and moved to Safed, where he joined a famed circle of Kabbalists and married the daughter of Israel Sarug [WKP].
Lazar Müller (Leser Dresnitz), born 1785 in Strážnice to Jakub and Esterl, was a student of Chatam Sofer and later dayan (judge) in Mattersdorf from 1813 to 1837.
Josef Dov Rebenwurzel, born 1794 in Strážnice to Moses and Blimele, was also a student of Chatam Sofer.
