[S1] Lackenbach Volkschule 1927-1928.
Identified: The Teacher is Mr. Band. He had a son and a daughter, lived in Lackenbach, resigned about 1930. Mr. Krausz succeeded him.
Top row, from left: 1st (?) Hershler; 3rd possibly Riegler; 4th Thea Taube, daughter of the Shochet and Chazan; 5th is Leah Lobl; 6th Olga Riegler;
7th is (?) Kohn; 10th is possibly Vilma Riegler. Last (first right) is Sari Lobl.
3rd row, from left: 1st is (?) Kern; 2nd is (Erna?) Riegler; 3rd and 4th are the Greensfeld twins.
3rd row from right: 1st is Flora Ginzburg (born 1921); 2nd is (?) Davidovitch, daughter of the Cheder teacher ("Melamed"); 3rd is Gitta Kern.
2nd row (first standing row) from left: 3rd is (Romi?) Lobl , 4th Joseph Loeffler; 5th is Adolf Kohn, (was the biggest bandit).
9th (2nd right) is Motush or Alush Taube, brother of Thea; 10th ( First right) : Walter Riegler.
1st row, 2nd from left is (?) Lobl. 8th (4th from right) is (Ernst?) Hacker; First right is (?) Kohn.

(P9)Lackenbach Synagogue
On 20 May 2010 Elli GINSBURG - STRAUSSBERG identified herself as the girl on the right and Herta (Itta) KOHN as the girl on the left!
Photo taken in 1931 (Elli was 6 years old) in front of the Lackenbach Synagogue (Behind). Between the girls and the Synagogue is the well.
The stairs behind, left side of the Synagogue was leading to Herta Kohn's family flat.
On the ground floor, left to the well, lived family Ostreicher. (Yohanan Loeffler)
Eli remembers that she was carrying a bag with pamphlets to deliver to the Jewish houses notifying the youth about a Youth Movement meeting.
